MOVER: Práticas Coreográficas de Escrita

No primeiro semestre de 2021, o Sesc Pinheiros convidou seis artistas de dança para coreografar os textos da publicação ‘MOVER – Práticas Coreográficas de Escrita‘. A ideia inicial propôs que artistas de diferentes realidades socioeconômicas e geográficas compartilhassem com o público como atuaram como profissionais da dança no contexto de isolamento social gerado pela pandemia de COVID-19.

Nesse período, os profissionais das artes foram severamente impactados pela situação e afastados das salas de espetáculos sem data para voltar. Dessa vivência, observa-se uma profusão criativa: peças on-line, transmissões de espetáculos gravados, aulas show, danças em áudios, transformações das redes sociais em veículos de interação, peças postais, existências ainda não nomeadas – criações e experiências que inspiraram e deram origem ao projeto ‘MOVER’.

A primeira parte do projeto foi realizada entre maio e junho, com um ciclo de três encontros on-line, em que os artistas Cristian Duarte, Danilo Patzdorf, Deise de Brito, Marina Guzzo, Priscila Maia e Tiago Amate compartilharam os desafios e conjunturas de criação em dança no contexto atual. Após os ciclos de falas públicas, seguiu-se para a segunda etapa do projeto, em que as reflexões dos artistas foram reunidas em uma publicação digital com textos de cada um deles.

A etapa de diagramação foi dirigida por Júlia Rocha, que dividiu o projeto dramatúrgico com o artista Fábio Morais, e o projeto gráfico ficou a cargo de Tina Merz. Participaram como primeiras leitoras as artistas Joana Ferraz, Isabel Monteiro e Regina Melim.

MOVE: Choreographic Writing Practices

In the first half of 2021, Sesc Pinheiros invited six dance artists to choreograph the texts for the publication ‘MOVER – Practices Choreographics of Writing‘. The initial idea proposed that artists from different socioeconomic and geographic realities share with the public how they acted as dance professionals in the context of social isolation generated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

During this period, arts professionals were severely impacted by the situation and were removed from performance halls with no date for returning. From this experience, a creative profusion can be observed: online pieces, broadcasts of recorded shows, show classes, audio dances, transformations of social networks into vehicles for interaction, postal pieces, existences not yet named – creations and experiences that inspired and gave rise to the 'MOVER' project.

The first part of the project was carried out between May and June, with a cycle of three online meetings, in which artists Cristian Duarte, Danilo Patzdorf, Deise de Brito, Marina Guzzo, Priscila Maia and Tiago Amate shared the challenges and circumstances of dance creation in the current context. After the cycles of public speeches, we moved on to the second stage of the project, in which the artists' reflections were gathered in a digital publication with texts from each of them.

The layout stage was directed by Júlia Rocha, who shared the dramaturgical project with the artist Fábio Morais, and the graphic design was in charge of Tina Merz. The artists Joana Ferraz, Isabel Monteiro and Regina Melim participated as the first readers.
