Cristian Duarte /em companhia é uma iniciativa do coreógrafo Cristian Duarte para estar, criar, produzir, difundir, co/mover o pensamento e excitar a percepção com dança junto de artistas que gostam, apoiam e promovem o trânsito entre as diversas áreas do conhecimento, entre linguagens, criando contextos de experimentação e formação em dança na cidade de São Paulo. É um organismo residente na Casa do Povo desde 2013, onde desenvolveu a residência LOTE e atualmente o contexto Z0NA. Sua produção é reconhecida por importantes prêmios no Brasil e suas produções são apresentadas em diversos contextos nacionais e internacionais.

Entendendo a força que o estatuto companhia possui, o ato simbólico de nomear não o ser mas o estar em companhia, reflete uma realidade afetiva mais conectada e coerente com os sentidos. Estar em companhia pressupõe acompanhar o outro ao seu lado. Faz questão de estar, pois é na manutenção das presenças e do presente que este movimento persiste. Cristian Duarte /em companhia is an initiative by choreographer Cristian Duarte to be, create, produce, share, move thought, and excite perception through dance together with artists who foster and promote the crossing of diverse fields of knowledge and artistic languages, creating experimental and educational contexts for dance in São Paulo. It has been a resident organism at Casa do Povo since 2013, where it developed the LOTE residence and, more recently, the context /em companhia. Its productions have been recognized with major awards in Brazil and presented in a wide range of national and international contexts.

Acknowledging the symbolic strength of the word company, here it is not about naming a fixed entity, but rather about affirming the state of being in company — a more connected and coherent expression of an affective reality. To be in company presupposes walking alongside others. It insists on being, for it is in sustaining presences and the present that this movement persists. This political and aesthetic exercise is inscribed in the trajectory of Cristian Duarte /em companhia, understood as a collective body — a glomerate.
