Cristian Duarte em companhia é uma iniciativa do coreógrafo Cristian Duarte para estar, criar, produzir, difundir, co/mover o pensamento e excitar a percepção com dança junto de artistas que gostam, apoiam e promovem o trânsito entre as diversas áreas do conhecimento, entre linguagens, criando contextos de experimentação e formação em dança na cidade de São Paulo. É um organismo residente na Casa do Povo desde 2013 onde desenvolveu a residência LOTE e atualmente o contexto Z0NA.

Entendendo a força que o estatuto companhia possui, o ato simbólico de nomear não o ser mas o estar em companhia, reflete uma realidade afetiva mais conectada e coerente com os sentidos. Estar em companhia pressupõe acompanhar o outro ao seu lado. Faz questão de estar, pois é na manutenção das presenças e do presente que este movimento persiste. Este exercício político e estético está escrito na trajetória de Cristian Duarte em companhia enquanto bando.

Cristian Duarte in company is an initiative by the choreographer Cristian Duarte to be, create, produce, disseminate, co/move thought and excite perception with dance together with artists who like, support and promote the transit between the different areas of knowledge, between languages, creating contexts of experimentation and training in dance in the city of São Paulo. It has been a resident organism at Casa do Povo since 2013 where it developed LOTE residence and currently the context Z0NA.

Understanding the strength that the company statute has, the symbolic act of naming not the being but the being in company, reflects an affective reality that is more connected and coherent with the senses. Being in company means following the other person at your side. It makes a point of being there, as it is in maintaining presence and the present that this movement persists.
